CRUSH DEPTH

CRUSH DEPTH is first-person sci-fi horror game set at the bottom of the ocean. A salvage operation that would set you up for life goes sideways when you realize you’re not alone down there. You’ll solve puzzles and run from danger as you uncover the mysterious fate of Eclipse Station.

Game engine used: Unreal Engine 5

Along with my team at Earth Giant, I worked on this project for about 6 months part time while being employed full time.

Areas I worked on:

  • Responsible for creature AI and behavior
  • Developed data driven gameplay systems for the flare and sensor mechanic
  • Implemented UI and developed material to warp all HUD to player visor
  • Built tutorial volume driven by Enhanced Input asset reference
  • Implemented data driven cinematic credits system
